Invoking the Elements

Image
This is one example of how to cast a circle and invoke the elements. There are many ways that you can do this. Make it your own. You'll know what feels right to you.  Air - carry the incense from the altar and walk around the circle. Wave the smoke around the circle's edge as you say: I call upon the element of air to bless this circle. May it take my prayers to the God and Goddess as I perform my work tonight  Earth - pick up the pentacle and walk around the circle. Hold the pentacle up at each quarter as you say: I call upon the element of earth to bless this circle. May it protect me with grounding force as I perform my work tonight.  Fire - pick up one of the altar candles and walk around the circle. Hold the candle up at each quarter as you say: I call upon the element of fire to bless this circle. May it grant me inspiration as I perform my work tonight.  Water - take a bowl of salted water and walk around the circle. Splash droplets of water around the circle'...

Charging Objects With Magick

Image
Hold or touch the item you want to magicakally charge sending the vibrations you want it to carry. Flow the energy until you feel an intuitive click. To find your magickally passive or active hand: 1. Clasp your hands together in a natural, relaxed way 2. Rest your hands on your lap or a desk 3. Look at your thumbs. The top thumb is the magicakally active hand Clear your mind, hold the object in your passive hand. Don't be tense. What thoughts or images do you get? Do you want to keep that energy and build upon it or start fresh? Bad energy? Cleanse it with water, the moon, or light of the sun. To charge: 1. Hold the item in your active hand lightly. Clear your mind. Connect to the Earth. 2. Draw energy from the Earth. Envision your hand and the object becoming one, filling it with energy. 3. Your hand will start to tingle. Continue until that feeling fades away.  Hopefully that all makes sense. Any questions, please ask!

Essential Oils for Clearing Negative Energy

Image
I know I already did a few entries about essential oils, but this one is more specific. I did some research because my sister had some personal items with negative memories and emotions attached to them that she wanted to cleanse. This is what I found.  Lavender Lemon Cypress Grapefruit Frankincense Sage Peppermint Also dead sea salt  What we did, was I gathered together all of the oils from the list that we had on hand, set them out on the counter and let her smell them all. She chose the ones she liked/connected to the most. Those were the ones that we put in the diffuser. While the diffuser was going, she held the objects, one at a time over the flow of the diffuser and concentrated on good things only. Trust your intuition, you'll know when the item feels cleansed.
